CDW Business Development Manager - Corporate Central Region in Chicago, Illinois

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for accelerating growth within the Corporate Central Region aligned with Dell EMC. The BDM will position CDW as a preferred solution provider within the market to customers, sellers and to the partner.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Applying project management techniques for successful delivery

  • Coordinate with leadership to:

  • Determine target market(s) and sellers

  • Assess current state of relationship

  • Develop a strategy to execute across the Central region

  • Assist and support in execution of growth strategy within selected accounts

  • Develop relationships with both the CDW and Dell EMC teams to further align CDW as the preferred solution provider

  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders within Dell EMC and CDW to ensure buy in from leadership and sellers across the Central region

  • Ability to deliver CDW’s value proposition around Dell EMC

  • Act as subject matter expert for customer visits and presentations, customer conference calls and webinars, as well as participate in all aspects of large transaction sales cycles

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure plan execution is supported


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3 yrs customer facing sales/marketing/business development experience in the Corporate Sales marketplace within the technology industry.

  • Strong customer facing skills with a history of building solid relationships with C-level contacts

  • Proven record of success in navigating procurement departments for additional opportunities

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities/projects, meet deadlines, facilitate change and delegate responsibility

  • Knowledge of Dell EMC portfolio and solutions

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • At least 25% travel
