CDW Senior Managed Services Manager, Offer Management in Madison, Wisconsin

Description

The Senior Manager of the Offer Management team is responsible for planning and executing on the go-to-market strategies, acting as a focused liaison between key internal CDW teams, CDW’s partners and customers. The Senior Manager will be accountable for driving Managed Services sales growth and increasing the awareness of Managed Services offerings with internal teams, partners and through direct customer interaction. The incumbent ensures outstanding customer service to internal and external customers as well as developing and maintaining positive business relationships with other departments.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Lead Offer Management team within Managed Services to include:

  • Channel Management/PreSales

  • Product Management

  • Partner Management

  • Create and execute on the go-to-market strategies for Managed Services

  • Build strong relationships with Sales leadership, Services leadership, CDW’s partners and customers to educate on Managed Services offerings, assess gaps in offerings and drive value by creating solutions

  • Owns the Managed Services lifecycle of products and solutions, to ensure offerings are exceeding customer expectations

  • Conduct face-to-face meetings for top Managed Services customers

  • Act as a Managed Services subject matter expert for strategic customer visits

  • Maintain the sales strategy playbook that delivers on the CDW overall go-to-market strategy and creates a consistent delivery experience for our customers

  • Work with our delivery team and focus partners to refine and develop best practices

  • Act as a point of contact to communicate best practices to and from the team

  • Work with other CDW Solution Practices to develop customer solutions

  • Work with CDW marketing including manufacturer trade/partner shows, regional technology seminars, and sales events. Provide support with speaking engagements when appropriate.

Other Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and coordinate with Sales, Solution Architects, Services Teams and Management to maximize services financial results and increase Managed Services market share

  • Analyze economic, competitive and industry changes affecting Managed Services and make recommendations as appropriate

  • Ensure that monthly forecasts are complete, accurate and timely

  • Validate and approve services estimates, statements of work and contracts for services engagements

  • Provide overall engagement management and oversight for strategic customer engagements and programs that have large revenue potential and/or service level agreements

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent in experience

  • 7-10 years of related IT services consulting and pre-sales experience

  • 5-7 years of Managed Services solution experience

  • 5-7 years of Management experience

  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed

Other Required Qualifications

  • Ability to lead teams; gain consensus

  • Thorough knowledge of operational strategies and understanding of enterprise infrastructure

  • Strong interpersonal and group presentation skills including consulting skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to think creatively and come up with proactive ideas that will increase sales

  • Experience with Profit and Loss responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to meet business unit sales objectives
