CDW Talent Acquisition Specialist - Operations and Analytics in Lincolnshire, Illinois

Job Description

  • _Role Overview _*

Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of Talent Acquisition initiatives, including email marketing, pre-employment screening, and background check programs, and the corresponding vendor relationship management. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will help implement and support CDW’s employment branding programs across all media segments, primarily focusing on social medial channels, Smashfly and CDW’s internal and external career sites.

  • _Key Areas of Responsibility _*

· Serve as the relationship leader with vendors, including holding high standards of performance, service delivery and issue resolution

· Provide ongoing reporting to the Talent Acquisition team and executive leaders on program performance and other key metrics

· Gather data, analyze results and deliver reports with insights on the results recruiter activity; provide recommendations to help optimize results, drive performance and achieve hiring goals

· Recommend process improvement to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and consistency within the Talent Acquisition function

· Identify optimal process to increase recruiter productivity and deliver a best in class jobseeker, candidate, and recruiter experience

· Ensure cross-functional alignment around people, process, and tools

· Administer the TA CRM (Talemetry) and other TA tools to optimize performance and capability for recruiters

· Intake CRM system requests and recommendations, determine feasibility, make recommendations, and execute on system changes or enhancements

· Partner with HRIS to serve as a subject matter expert for the ATS (Taleo) and provide guidance to recruiters

· Leverage the partnership between TA and HRIS for execution of system, reporting, and process enhancements

· Assist in the execution of background, education, and drug screenings for potential hires

· Manage internal custom requests and projects; balancing resource hours and constraints

  • Act as brand ambassador for CDW as an employer of choice

  • Assist in the management of the day-to-day relationship with select external vendors and ensure deliverables are executed according to specifications

  • Serve as a liaison between select vendors, HRIS, and Talent Acquisition

  • Maintain timely reporting

  • Ensure adherence to and compliance with legal regulations such as CAN-SPAM

_ Minimum Qualifications _

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 1 year of marketing, talent acquisition, or corporate business experience

_ Other Required Qualifications _

  • Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) experience

  • Database query experience

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders including senior leadership

  • History of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Solid organizational skills with critical attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand emerging recruitment trends and technologies and their practical application to talent acquisition

  • Proven ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships

_ *Preferred Qualifications *_

  • 3+ years of experience

  • Experience with Recruitment Marketing Platforms such as Talemetry OR Email Service Providers such as CheetahMail, ExactTarget, or Responsys

  • Technology industry and integrated direct marketing experience

  • Template design, content/copywriting, HTML, database query skills

  • Experience interviewing stakeholders for requirements
